The mission of the Arts & Culture Alliance is to serve and support a diverse community of artists, arts organizations, and cultural institutions by assuring their creative, financial, and operational well-being. The primary purpose of the Emporium Center is to further the mission stated above. As such, priority will be given to events and/or programming that incorporates this purpose. The Rentable Space is available to individuals, non-profit organizations, and other organizations. All functions must be deemed appropriate to the facilities and must not interfere with normal working conditions or current arts/cultural programming. The Alliance reserves the right to deny facility usage to any group for any program which is inconsistent with the Alliance’s or the Emporium Center’s purpose or reputation. Political fund-raisers will not be allowed.

Downstairs Gallery (24' x 118' space): Up to 500 standing receptions; 200 sit-down dinner/lunch

Equipment available
Thanks to the City of Knoxville, the Alliance can make available:

98 black plastic chairs (free of charge)
59 upholstered stacking chairs ($2 each)
Five 6' rectangular folding tables (free of charge)
Four 8' rectangular folding tables (free of charge)
Eight 72" round tables ($5 each)
Fourteen 72" x 60" oval tables ($5 each)

We do not provide linens.

Facility use rates
Please note: 50% of total cost + $100 refundable damage deposit are required to hold a date. For rates, please contact Cheryl Jenkins at (865) 523-7543 or cj@knoxalliance.com.

Contracts/deposits
A rental reservation will be considered confirmed when the Alliance has received a signed contract, a copy of an insurance policy from the renter for public liability coverage, and the deposit (50% of total cost + $100 damage deposit). By renting space in the Emporium Center, the renter agrees to indemnify and release the Emporium from any and all claims that may arise during the time usage of their said event. This includes any liability coverage necessitated, created, and/or occurring with the serving of any alcoholic beverages during the event.
