Grants and AwardsEast Tennessee is rich with a variety of artists, arts and culture organizations, educational opportunities, and audiences. However, extra funds for the sustainable development of our region’s arts and culture are always needed. The Alliance is proud to play a role in developing solutions for new financial opportunities for artists, and arts and culture organizations. In the last year, the Alliance administered more than $100,000 in Tennessee Arts Commission Arts Build Communities (ABC) grants for 44 deserving projects in our region. Additional funds from the Tennessee Arts Commission’s Student Ticket Subsidy Program made it possible for 20,000 students from 100 different schools to attend arts and cultural performances and exhibits.
