Arts & Culture Alliance Presents 2007 Members Exhibit
The Arts & Culture Alliance presents its Members Exhibit, the largest annual showcase of local artists in the Greater Knoxville area. The fresh mix of two- and three-dimensional works created within the past two years encompasses a wide variety of media such as oils, acrylics, watercolors, pastels, pencils, mixed media, photography, fine crafts, beadwork, iron sculpture, stone sculpture, clay, wood-carving, ceramics, and jewelry from local artists who are all members of the Alliance.
The opening reception on Friday, June 1, from 5-9pm, is free and open to the public; complimentary wine and hors d’oeuvres will be served. The Arts & Culture Alliance 2007 Members Exhibit is on display June 1 – 30 at the Emporium Center for Arts & Culture, 100 S. Gay Street, downtown Knoxville. Arts & Culture Alliance 2007 Members Exhibition
June 1-30, 2007, at the Emporium Center:
*Open to members of the Arts & Culture Alliance only.
*Each individual Alliance member may submit up to three (3) pieces for consideration.
*At least one (1) submitted piece from each member will appear in the show.
*Pieces must have been created in the past two years and not shown previously in the Emporium Gallery or in an Alliance-sponsored satellite exhibit.
*The Alliance will take a 20% commission on any member piece that sells from the show.
Schedule
Hand-delivery dates: Monday-Friday, May 21-25 (9-5), and Saturday, May 26 (11-3). Call for an appointment to deliver prior to May 21-25.
Exhibit opens to the public: First Friday, June 1, 5-9 PM
Exhibit hours: Monday-Friday, 9-5 and Saturday, 11-3.
Last day of exhibit: Saturday, June 30, 2007
Pick-up work (no work is released before end of show): Monday-Tuesday, July 2-3, 9-5.
