A double bill of two electrifying artists, each bringing their own distinctive voice and vision to the Bijou stage. Eddie 9V has quickly emerged as one of the most exciting names in American roots music. With a fiery blend of Southern soul, blues, rock, and funk, the Georgia-born bandleader has made waves with his breakout album Capricorn and continues his ascent with the upcoming release of Saratoga (out November 22, 2024 on Ruf Records). Written with his brother Lane Kelly, the album showcases Eddie’s evolution as a songwriter—mixing sharp lyricism, dynamic grooves, and vintage tones. From the disco-tinged harmonies of the title track to the brass-fueled cover of Mac DeMarco’s “Chamber of Reflection,” Saratoga proves that Eddie’s creative arc is just getting started. Whether howling over a swampy rhythm or channeling soul with a falsetto croon, Eddie 9V delivers high-energy performances with a wink and a wild spirit that keeps audiences coming back for more. Paul McDonald is a Nashville-based singer-songwriter whose unmistakable voice—raw, raspy, and timeless—has drawn comparisons to icons like Rod Stewart and Bob Dylan. His songs are equal parts poetry and anthem, combining vivid storytelling with big melodic hooks. After years of touring and past collaborations with artists like Nikki Reed, Paul returns with his first full-length album in over six years, So Long to the Dark Side, releasing July 11, 2025. The record is a deeply personal and uplifting collection that reflects Paul’s journey and intention to spread peace, love, and unity through his music. The lead single “Dark Side” hints at the powerful blend of vulnerability and resolve that characterizes his sound.
