Organizations at the Emporium

Home to arts and cultural organizations working in and for East Tennessee.

The Emporium Center houses a dynamic group of nonprofit arts and cultural organizations, creating a shared hub for collaboration, programming, and public engagement in downtown Knoxville. By bringing these groups together under one roof, the Emporium strengthens connections across disciplines, expands access to the arts, and helps sustain a more visible and interconnected creative community in East Tennessee.

Many of the organizations housed at the Emporium receive support from the Tennessee Arts Commission (TAC), which plays a key role in funding arts programming across the state. One of the easiest ways to support that work is through the Tennesseans for the Arts specialty license plate. Proceeds from every plate sold go directly toward funding the TAC, helping sustain artists, organizations, and creative opportunities throughout Tennessee.
