Clarence Brown Theatre: Alias Grace
Based on the novel by Margaret Atwood, adapted for the stage by Jennifer Blackmer. Ontario, Canada in 1859. Serving a life sentence for murders committed fifteen years ago, Grace Marks says she has no memory of the killings. A doctor investigating psychological trauma in amnesiacs tries to unlock the details and truth from Grace’s memory, but the path is painful and shocking. Is Grace an innocent victim? Is she mad? Or is she a scheming murderess? Recommended for high school age and above.
Tickets available for Sun Sep 30 (2 PM) and Wed-Fri Oct 3-5 (7:30 PM); entire show run is Sep 26 – Oct 14 at Ula Love Doughty Carousel Theatre. Seats for Penny4Arts are available on a first come, first served basis and are subject to availability. Sunday matinees are limited to 40 Penny4Arts tickets. Tickets will be on sale three weeks prior to each performance. The adult ticket will also receive a 10% discount. Tickets must be purchased by calling or visiting the Box Office and must be picked up at will call the day/night of the event by the attending adult.
