Jubilee Community Arts: 49th Annual Jubilee Festival
Jubilee Community Arts showcases some of the finest practitioners of mountain music across the generations, home grown in our own back yard. Friday and Saturday night we will have old time string bands and song and plenty of jamming in the basement. The festival concludes with Old Harp Singing on Sunday. This year’s performers include the John Alvis & Friends, Acuff & Simmons, Henry Perry & Jaimie Cameron, the Tennessee Stifflegs, Leah Gardner and Peggy Hambright, Overmountain String Band, Y’uns, Trenton Caruthers & Conner Vlietstra, Kelle Jolly, Roy Harper, Buck Hoffman & Paul McQuade, Mike & Marcia Bryant, and the Mumbillies.
The Friday and Saturday night concerts begin at 7:00 PM (ending around 11:00 PM); the Sunday singing starts at 2:00 PM and is free.
