Knoxville Handel Society: The Magnificat & Messiah Part I Concert

Knoxville Handel Society, a multi-generational community choir, will present The Magnificat by J. S. Bach and Messiah Part I by G. F. Handel. Cathedral of the Most Sacred Heart of Jesus provides the ideal sacred space for these premier choral masterpieces. The Knoxville Handel Society, under the direction of Dr. Wendell Boertje, is dedicated to the performance of classical masterworks through collaboration with the finest choral musicians in the Knoxville Metropolitan area.

KHS concerts are free to students K-12 as part of their mission to promote and preserve Choral Art. Tickets are available online, at the Paraclete Books and Gifts Store (located on the Cathedral campus, 865-588-0338), or at the door (opens one hour prior to concert).
