Knoxville Symphony Orchestra: William Shaub Plays Mendelssohn
Part of the Knoxville Symphony Orchestra’s Moxley Carmichael Masterworks Series, which marks the KSO’s 83rd season.
This Masterworks performance takes the audience on a journey of symphonic transformation through history. Mei-Ann Chen returns to lead the KSO. The night will also include the Masterworks debut of KSO Concertmaster William Shaub performing Mendelssohn’s Violin Concerto. The night concludes with a moving story put to music entitled “Symphonic Metamorphosis on a Theme by Carl Maria Von Weber” by Paul Hindemith.

Advance reservations required? YES – must redeem by visiting or calling the KSO Box Office prior to the day of the concert (M-F 9-5). This offer is not available through web sales or for walk up sales at the venue the afternoon or evening of the concert.
