Nief-Norf presents Andrew Tholl, performing his own works on violin & piano! Andrew Tholl is a violinist, composer, and improvisor whose genre-defying work blends contemporary classical music with experimental rock, pop, and interdisciplinary performance. Praised by the Los Angeles Times as “vigorously virtuosic,” he is a founding member of the Formalist Quartet and a member of the Grammy-nominated ensemble Wild Up. Based in Los Angeles, Tholl teaches at UC Santa Barbara and Ventura College and remains active in concert halls, galleries, films, and experimental spaces alike.
