The Oak Ridge Symphony Orchestra strings play a rousing finale to our 74th season! You’ll want to dance, so bring your dancing shoes. Maestro Allcott will have his! Oak Ridge Symphony Orchestra Concertmaster Karen Kartal and Principal Oboist Ayca Yayman are soloists for the evening. Join us for the season-ending reception to meet and greet the musicians…and maybe get a dance lesson from the Maestro! Youth interest: Music by Johann Sebastian Bach, Antonín Dvořák, Nikos Skalkottas, Ralph Vaughan Williams, Ennio Morricone, and Béla Bartók. Violin and oboe concerto. Folk dance music. Film music. Baroque-era music. 20th century music. Living composer. German, Czech, Greek, English, Italian and Hungarian composers. Professional music careers. General admission. Adult $25.
