Mayors’ Offices Exhibitions

The Arts & Culture Alliance helps present this biannual exhibition for our individual members.

Call for Artwork for the Mayors’ Offices (updated May 2026)

Our City and County mayors have once again asked the Arts & Culture Alliance to display the artwork of our individual ACA members on the sixth floor of the City County Building at 400 Main Street in downtown Knoxville. We would be honored to include your work if possible and hope you will be interested in participating! (Not a member? Join now!)

Artwork will be displayed in two places: 1) in the anterooms of City Mayor Indya Kincannon, and 2) in the hallway outside both the City Mayor and County Mayor Glenn Jacob’s offices. Artwork will remain on display from approximately June – November 2026.

Please note: The works comprising these exhibitions are put together in order to build cohesive exhibitions. We do not impose a particular theme or color-scheme, but we do include works that look best together as a whole and that mutually flatter one another as well as their surroundings. That may mean that one, two, or no pieces of any particular artist ends up being included.

Please drop off to two original works to the ACA office at the Emporium June 1 – 5, between 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM. In advance of delivery, please populate the FORM BELOW.

2-D works must be wired to hang. Please limit works to 30 lbs or less in weight and 48″ on the longest side. There is no fee to participate for current individual members.

Please be sure your name and artwork title are on the back of each piece.

New artwork will be installed on Monday June 8.

Work from the previous show may be picked up during a “meet and greet” with the mayors on Thursday, May 28 OR from the Alliance offices on/after Friday, May 29. For more information, contact: (865) 523-7543 or email Lauren@knoxalliance.com.
