“Fall” in Love with Glass is what happened when Susan Watson first picked up a glass cutter. This exhibition explores the harmony between natural texture, light, and vibrant color. Handcrafted in East Tennessee, this collection brings together stained glass, mosaic compositions, and fluid multimedia elements designed to capture the changing hues and warmth of the season. Each piece reflects a balance of raw organic structure and refined craft, creating a dynamic visual narrative within the display.

Driven by a passion for bold color, intricate detail, and storytelling through mixed media, Susan Watson approaches glass and mosaic art as a bridge between tradition and personal expression. Her work centers on transforming everyday spaces with light and rich texture, bringing handcrafted elegance and unique character from her studio to viewers’ homes.

Susan Watson is a Knoxville, Tennessee-based glass and mosaic artist. Susan spent nearly 30 years at Dollywood, where she served as the resident stained glass artist, crafting custom leaded and stained glass pieces for millions of park guests. Her current creative work is deeply informed by extensive travel and study alongside native artists across Europe, South America, and Africa, incorporating global design elements—from hand-dyed Turkish textiles to architectural ironwork—into her art. Working from her local studio, she continues to create one-of-a-kind art pieces and custom commissions that celebrate color, origin, and refinement.
