Appalachian Arts Craft Center: Kids Camp

The Craft Center will conduct a 1-day kids camp for campers ages 8-14. In the morning, campers will be instructed by volunteers of the Center’s Tuesday Weavers group to learn how to use the straw weaving method to create a bracelet along with learning how to use the table loom to create a mud rug. After lunch, campers will be instructed by artist Melanie Fetterolf to create and finish an acrylic painting they can hang on their bedroom wall!

Students should bring a lunch. AACC Members: $25 for one student or $45 for two students in the same household. Each additional student in the same household $15. Non-Members $35 for one student or $65 for two students in the same household. Each additional student in the same household $25. Registration Deadline: July 6.
