This 1955 comedy-drama was planned for Broadway but canceled when Childress wouldn’t tone down its message. Follow an experienced Black stage actress through rehearsals of a major Broadway production in this funny, moving, and shattering look at racism, identity, and ego in the high-stakes world of New York theatre.

Tickets on sale January 18, 2023. Entire show run is Feb 8-26. For all productions children must be aged 5 years old and up, with the exception of A Christmas Carol which is ages 4 and up. Lap seating is strictly prohibited based on fire code requirements. Offering up to 3 child tickets per one adult ticket. The adult ticket will also receive a 10% discount. Tickets must be purchased by calling or visiting the Box Office (Tue-Fri 12-5 PM) and must be picked up at will call the day/night of the event by the attending adult.
