Live performance! Sounds, history and movement of Argentine tango. This project is the natural continuation of the successful Tango night that took place at the UT Tyson Alumni in September 2019 during the Hispanic Heritage month. For that event the collaboration involved the UT School of Music, the UT Institute of Agriculture, the Domino Ensemble and guest dancers Julieta Barrionuevo and Alejandro Montes de Oca. The performance will include original tango music for quartet featuring members of the Domino Ensemble along with international guest Matias Pedrana (bandoneon) and dancers Julieta Barrionuevo and Alejandro Montes de Oca. Free and open to the public.
