Ijams Nature Center: Nature Adventure Camp

Nature Adventure Camp is a two-week camp for age 8-12 that allows them to build deeper relationships with their peers, camp educators, and the land around them. This program allows children to participate in adventures and activities that build on previous experiences and support more robust development of skills in program areas such as canoeing, fire building, species identification, caving and leadership without starting over every week. PLUS: Campers in these sessions get to explore Navitat Knoxville’s tree-based adventure park TWICE during this two-week camp! All Ijams camp programs are designed and led by environmental educators and naturalists who bring their knowledge of science, nature, and animals on each exciting adventure. After Care is available for an additional fee.

2022 NATURE ADVENTURE CAMP DATES

Session 3 July 5-15 (No camp on July 4)
Session 4 July 18-29

The fee for each two-week session is $600 for non-members and $570 for Ijams members. Session 3 is a nine-day program due to the July 4 holiday. The cost for this program is $540 for non-members and $513 for members. Camp fees include: All activities, 2 days on Navitat’s high ropes course, Use of all necessary recreation equipment. NOTE: Lunch is NOT provided as part of camp. All participants must bring a lunch and two snacks to camp each day.
