Ijams Nature Center: Preschool Summer Camp

Preschool Summer Camp focuses on child-led, age-appropriate experiential learning for children ages 3-5. Most of the day is spent outdoors, exploring nature and making a strong connection with the environment. Children learn through play, discovery, and inquiry. Not only do children develop a solid foundation for lifelong learning but also cultivate a love of nature that is the basis for a conservation ethic later in life.

Each session is a combination of outdoor play, nature hikes, and animal presentations. Special crafts, art projects, and/or hands-on activities throughout the week allow campers to explore different topics based on their interests.

Ages: 3-5 who are fully potty-trained at time of camp.

Session Duration: 5-day sessions, Monday-Friday 9 am-12 pm

Cost per Session: $166 for Members | $175 for Non-Members NOTE: There is no camp on July 4; this session is pro-rated to $132 for Members and $140 for Non-Members.​
