The concert opens with music for chamber orchestra & electronica by Grammy award-winning American composer Mason Bates. His “haunted” Auditorium “begins with the premise that an orchestra, like a person, can be possessed.”  PROGRAM CHANGE: The guitar soloist previously announced will unfortunately not be appearing, but Ludwig van Beethoven’s delightful Symphony No. 8, Maurice Ravel’s Le Tombeau de Couperin, and Chen Yi’s “Sprout” will round out the program!
