Biography:

Glenda Bowles has over 30 years of experience in the Arts. She focuses on core technical skill in multiple art mediums. Presently, she is creating art in oil paints as well as watercolor, pen and ink, acrylic, gouache, and graphite predominantly.

She has exhibited her artwork in numerous settings from Fine Arts shows and sales including the Brentwood Academy show in Nashville, Memphis College of Art, the Knoxville Museum of Art, the Emporium, and in smaller settings around Knoxville and Morristown. She has a permanent exhibit of murals in Knoxville as well as in Greece, Belize, and Jordan.

She really enjoys bringing nature onto a large scale canvas to emphasis its beauty. Beauty of the organic shapes and curves of flowers, plants and outdoors becomes a frequent subject matter in her artwork.
